Senior Business Analyst (Supply Chain) at

As a member of the Go To Market team, you will be involved in transforming our customers' businesses through the implementation and use of AI Decision solutions. In your role you have the opportunity to work closely with our customers to identify areas to apply AI solutions and to unlock value. You will identify and measure the KPIs and tradeoffs for applied solution. 

Our customers use our AI solutions to improve their business decisions, make better decisions, make them faster, and make them more consistently. We use advanced mathematics, proprietary machine learning algorithms, and real-world data modelling to help our customers to achieve those goals. 

What will you be responsible for?

As a Business Analyst you will -

  • Understand and analyse business pain points, discover areas to unlock value, scope the opportunity, and define KPIs to measure, monitor and improve.
  • Research customer processes, conduct process mapping, document and model existing workflow, collect data, analyse information and identify constraints and dependencies.
  • Identify and measure optimisation opportunities, scenarios and tradeoffs.
  • Analyse and map customer business processes and project requirements and identify necessary solution customisation and product requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the customer team and build constructive and positive relationships with all key stakeholders.
  • Assist data scientists and machine learning engineers with the business context, customer data, target KPIs and metrics.
  • Prepare regular analysis of the business progress, KPIs, and related forecasts and assist with reports internally and to customers. Use data and analytics tools to visualise the narrative, the results, and communicate those to stakeholders

International travel to customer sites is a requirement of this role and will be around 20% of your time.

What skills, experience, and qualifications do you need to succeed in this role?

Proven track record

  • You’ve worked as a Business Analyst or as a consultant within supply chain operations or have an understanding of SCM tools. You have a passion for identifying areas to unlock value and you’re able to communicate the value externally and internally which builds trust with your colleagues and our customers.
  • You will have a broad understanding of Enterprise systems and ideally will have SAP consulting experience.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain business processes.
  • Experience in license and services pre-sales activities.

Leadership skills 

  • You’re able to conduct customer dialogues at an executive level. You are able to work independently and take responsibility for managing time, resource and deadlines on projects.
  • You enjoy provided mentoring/leadership to others and see the value of giving and receiving feedback.

 Problem solving

You take an analytical approach to problems and get a lot out of finding solutions to issues, for example: analysis of freight forwarding business process and recommendations on tradeoff across cost, time, and service quality.  

Strong communicator

  • You’re an excellent communicator and teamwork and facilitation are big motivators for you. In building relationships and rapport you are able to influence others and are a strong negotiator.
  • You can translate techno-speak and move between communication with technical and non-technical audiences. You are also able to switch between strategic and tactical approaches.

Bonus points

  • Prior experience in SAP, JDA, Oracle, IBM, Accenture process mapping is a plus
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies
  • Experience in license and services pre-sales activities.
