Pimloc is looking for a full-stack developer to support the next iteration of development for our Secure Redact video privacy and analytics platform. This is a permanent role in the Pimloc engineering team, based in the UK.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Writing, reviewing and maintaining lots of code in Node.js and React.

• Scope, design and build scalable, performant and secure web applications and APIs.

• Provide input into the direction of the business and future product road maps.

• Communicate, liaise, and coordinate activities with Pimloc colleagues both within and outside the Engineering Team.

The ideal, degree-educated candidate will have:

• Experience working with Node.js

• Experience working with React.js (or similar Javascript frontend framework)

• Experience working with RestAPIs and WebSockets

• Good knowledge of relational databases

• You're comfortable working with modern tooling (Git, CI/CD

• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues

• Experience with AWS Infrastructure

• Experience using Docker

What the process looks like:

• Online coding test: (90 minutes)

• Technical interview: (2 hours) System design discussion and coding test.

• Non-technical discussion: this is a short (30-minute) conversation with the Pimloc CEO (Simon Randall). This is an opportunity to discuss any non-technical questions about the role and Pimloc.
