Pimloc is looking for a Computer Vision Field Technician to join our in-house annotation team on a permanent basis. This role will report to the Data Annotation Manager and will be a critical area of future development and capability generation to underpin Pimloc’s future business growth.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Full time data annotation and analysis role

• Help shape product and internal tool requirements based on client needs and own experience 

• Gathering data in the field for specific use cases 

• Project oriented work with international customers across diverse fields  

• Annotating images and video using Pimloc's annotation tools (identify and annotate personal information in video)

• Work with the sales team and interact with new customers 

• Product testing of Secure Redact application for new releases

• Using Secure Redact application to anonymise video data for customers

The ideal candidate will have:

• A recent graduate, or 1-3 years experience working in technology and/or photography/video-editing 

• Interest in working directly with clients on project based work, attention to detail is essential

• Ability to learn new software tools quickly

• Excellent communication skills to feedback requirements to update/improve tools

• Flexible attitude to quickly changing work priorities 

• UK based with valid driving licence

An exceptional candidate will also have:

• Extensive experience of working with redaction software/video editing software

• Basic knowledge of using GNU/Linux based command line 

• Experience of working with customers and sales team members to determine customer needs 

• An interest in technology, machine learning and artificial intelligence 

• Passion for photography/video making in a creative environment
