Pimloc is looking for an experienced sales engineer to provide specialist product and technical knowledge to support Pimloc’s pre-sales efforts and API integrations for our Secure Redact video privacy and analytics platform. This is a permanent role starting in the Pimloc engineering team, based in the UK (over time there is the opportunity to build out a wider customer experience, CX, team).

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Partnering with Pimloc sales team and API channel partners to help deliver customer conversion and revenue through the pre-sale and technical on-boarding process.

• Responsible for presenting Secure Redact product features and benefits to end users and C-level buyers of prospect customers.

• Provide the technical and strategic vision for Secure Redact platform with customers, become a trusted technical partner.

• Support customers and partners with their Secure Redact API integrations (ie. working with developers on customer side to develop customer orientated products and services using Secure Redact capabilities).

• Directly integrating Secure Redact capabilities into customer platforms and marketplaces (ie. doing the API integration work for select customers).

• Identifying future customer revenue opportunities.

• Documentation of client feature requests and issues for prioritisation to the product roadmap.

• Maintaining Pimloc’s Secure Redact API documentation online (using Postman)

The ideal, degree-educated candidate will have:

• 3+ years of experience in Sales Engineering with a demonstrated track record of success within B2B SaaS sales.

• Strong track record of defining and executing against key commercial performance indicators.

• Hands on experience with the design, development, deployment and support of API services and tooling.

• You need knowledge of Javascript (Node.js); Python would be a plus but not a mandatory requirement

• It would be advantageous if you have experience with security concepts such as Authentication and Authorization, SSL and key management. 

• Good knowledge of relational databases 

• You're comfortable working with modern tooling (primarily Git)

• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues 

• Experience with AWS Infrastructure 

• Experience using Docker would be a plus
