Market Development Manager at Xampla

The Role
 
As we commercialise and rapidly scale up our business and launch our first products alongside our license partners. To expedite this growth, we are seeking to recruit a Market Development Manager to join our energetic and highly engaged team.
 
The Market Development Manager's primary responsibility is to create demand for Xampla's technology with our customer's customers, including FMCG consumers, QFS, and Convenience brands.

• Sales skills; building relationships, comfortable cold calling and securing meetings with the right decisions makers/influencers
• Strategic understanding: generating market insight and shapingstrategy/tactics
• Outstanding communication skills – both written and oral

Role Summary:
•    Drive demand for Morro materials with end users by creating value proposition and developing programmes of marketing activity for a variety of channels including 1:1 interactions, events, webinars.
•    Provide market intelligence based on end-user buying decisions to deepen our understanding on market fit and approach for Morro including partnering with end-users directly to understand paint points, overcome barriers to adoption and create opportunities to accelerate partnerships.
•    Deepen marketing understand and identify areas for strategic acclerate growth with new value streams including product development and new market audiences.
•    Utilise regulatory and ESG target pressures to highlight relevant opportunities to drive growth and accelerate demand within specific markets.
•    Work with Business Development and Marketing teams to ideate and deliver differentiated partnership propositions and deliver strategic account plans for end users.
 
 
Your Experience - Understanding The Packaging Industry
•    Excellent understanding of FMCG, QFS, and Convenience end users and their packaging supply chains.
•    Experience partnering directly with customers, gained in technical roles or business/market development.
•    Understanding of how to generate and use customer insights to feed strategic plans.
•    Experience building and delivering compelling and persuasive presentations that drive customer demand.
•    Ability to understand and explain technical concepts in a clear way (scientific background would be advantageous)
